Community Participation Programs support NDIS participants to engage in social, recreational, and community activities, helping build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections.
Community Participation support is available to NDIS participants whose disability affects their ability to take part in community, social, or recreational activities. This support is designed to help you build skills, connect with others, and engage in social, leisure, or community activities that matter to you. Your NDIS plan must include funding for Community Participation supports, and services are tailored to your individual goals, abilities, and interests.
Community Participation programs include social, recreational, and skill-building activities tailored to your interests, such as sports, hobbies, group outings, and life skills programs.
These programs help participants learn practical skills, gain confidence, build friendships, and take part in their community, supporting greater independence.
