Frequently Asked Questions

Behavioural Intervention is a structured support approach that helps individuals develop positive behaviours, emotional regulation, and coping strategies to improve daily functioning and quality of life.

Behavioural Intervention helps people who have challenging behaviours. It teaches new skills, keeps them safe, and helps them take part in daily life. For example, participants with developmental disabilities, or those experiencing mental health or psychosocial disabilities.

We use strategies to help people show positive behaviours, learn new skills, and be more independent. This includes teaching skills, making routines, changing the environment, and supporting families. All strategies are individualised, working with the participant and their family or carers to meet their goals and improve quality of life.

Behavioural Intervention can be funded through the NDIS for participants with behavioural support needs, guided by a Positive Behaviour Support plan.
