Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist individuals living with disabilities in achieving greater independence, inclusion, and quality of life. The successful candidate will provide person-centered care and practical support tailored to each client’s needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily living assistance including personal care, hygiene, dressing, and grooming

  • Support clients with mobility and safe transfers

  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding where required

  • Administer medication in accordance with care plans (if qualified)

  • Support community participation such as appointments, social activities, and outings

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

  • Follow individualized support plans and behavioral strategies

  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at all times


Skills & Qualifications

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or related field (preferred)

  • Previous experience in disability or community care (desirable)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • First Aid & CPR certification

  • Valid driver’s license (if transport support required)

  • Clear background / police check
